Upton

Upton was a gorgeous Golden Labrador, who had sadly passed away quite suddenly, and was commissioned by Jaz as a memorial painting for her friend.

Isn’t he beautiful! Golden Labs can be one of the more challenging breeds to draw I have found, I’m not quite sure why! Maybe something in the light colours and smooth textures. This was a really short timeframe portrait, and I am really pleased how well it came out, as was Jaz. Her testimonial can be read below.
